Review: LASplash Diamond Dust & Eye Sparkle Loose Mineral Eyeshadow

I am absolutely in love. Since MAC reduced the size of their pigments I have been looking for alternatives. I stumbled upon these last summer at Ulta but they were a limited edition product. Now, they are back and this time they are available permanently.

About Face: Nicki Minaj Inspired Tutorial

Nicki Minaj. I am not a fan of her music but I am a fan of her style. I like that she's silly and has an over the top persona. I also like that she isn't afraid to wear color. Too often you see women of color focus on brown/gold/bronze colors. Nicki wears pink and green, yellow and blue. It's fantastic.

Coming up!

So I have a blog post coming about LA Splash Diamond Dust & Eye Sparkle Mineral Eyeshadows. But....I did a look for the video and I wanted to know if you guys think it's tutorial worthy. I really can't decide because it's not a wearable look. It's more of a creative/fun look. Would you guys like to know how I did it? Let me know!

Here's a look at the LA Splash Diamond Dust & Mineral Shadows:

Event: MAC Give Me Liberty of London Preview

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Nordstrom preview of the MAC Spring Colour Forecast collection. So, I was surprised to see another invitation to a preview event in the mail. This time it was being held at the MAC Pro store and the collection was Give Me Liberty of London. The last event I attended at the Pro store was the MAC Hello Kitty preview, an experience I shared on Specktra's blog. It was about a year ago and that night was freezing cold, as this one turned out to be, and the line to enter was down the block. I was hoping this wouldn't be a repeat of that night.
